Director Duties & Board Effectiveness for Private Tech Companies Forum

August 27-28│12:00pm – 6:30 PM MST
Dentons Calgary Office

InterGen, in collaboration with Board Ready Women and Axis Connects, is hosting an exclusive two half-day workshop on Private Equity Corporate Governance. This curated program is designed to immerse you in principles and best practices of corporate governance within the private equity landscape. With practical experience in addressing private equity governance issues through angel investing, venture capitalist roles, and serving on private equity boards, Michael Robinson brings a wealth of expertise that will enhance this program experience.

You will get a blend of in-person lectures, interactive case studies, and small group simulated board meetings, offering an interactive environment for you to reflect on your own board experiences and share insights with peers. Engaging case studies will place you in the role of an independent director joining an early-stage technology board where you will be asked to resolve real-life scenarios including potential conflicts of interest. This workshop will end with an expert panel discussion providing actionable takeaways for participants.

This program is designed for founders and CFOs of scale-up companies that ideally have a board of directors or imminently transitioning to a board of directors,  their investors, advisory board members and directors.
