Volunteer Board Members
McDougall House Association – Edmonton, Alberta
McDougall House Association (MHA) is a not-for-profit society and registered charity, established in 1969, providing residential second stage addictions’ treatment for women. Women who come to McDougall House have already completed a first stage addictions program and are seeking further support in their recovery. MHA takes a comprehensive approach to addictionstreatment, offering trauma informed programming that includes individual counselling, group counselling, and workshops. MHA is licensed with the Alberta Government as an inpatient drug and alcohol addiction treatment center and is accredited with Accreditation Canada.
Our annual budget to operate our facility is partially funded by Alberta Health Services and we rely on fundraising and grants available to fully meet our operational and capital funding needs.
