We are seeking 3 new board members each with a specific background and expertise.
1) Education – as we expand our youth education program across Canada and build global partnerships, we would like to have someone with a background in education join our Board. This could be a current or former teacher or administrator who is familiar with curriculum and school board operations.
2) Policy & Government Relations – the fashion industry is experiencing a number of policy changes, from anti-greenwashing to extended producer responsibility. As such, we are looking for someone with experience in public policy and who can help us strengthen our relationships with all levels of government in Canada.
3) Fundraising – as the needs of our stakeholders grow and change, we must also focus on our own growth. We are looking for someone with non-profit experience in fundraising, grant writing, sponsorship, corporate donations etc who can help us grow our capacity over the next 5 years.
All candidates should have an interest or passion for sustainable fashion and preference will be given to those who reside in Canada.

Board positions are minimum 2 years and can be renewed for 2 additional terms (6 years max). Preference will be given to those with a minimum of 2 years previous board experience. Meetings are held virtually 10x/year and in EST.
