What is the role?
We are looking for board members committed to leading the HBSPCA into an innovative, financially flourishing, Pet First future.
Who benefits?
Well, first and foremost, animals. We plan to change the face of animal care over the next 25 years. We need the right people in place to make this happen. You would be helping the HBSPCA establish a Pet First culture and contribute to work at the forefront of animal care within our province. An overview of your role
- Organizational strategic planning and monitoring
- Protect assets and provide financial oversight
- Contribute skills and knowledge by participating in meetings and committee work
- Select, support and review the performance of the chief executive
- Board member recruitment and board performance evaluation
The time commitment required is to attend five board meetings annually and four committee meetings.
