We were excited to host our event with such a fantastic panel! A big thank you to Margaret McKenzie, Susan Riddell Rose, Alicia Macdonald and Catherine Samuel for a very informative and insightful conversation. We heard many positive comments from the attendees and all of the information presented was very much appreciated. We had a great turnout, 100+ people in-person and 75 joining virtually!! WOW! The Boards Role in Sustainability
Board directors everywhere are trying to address the new challenges that environmental, social and governance (ESG) risks and opportunities present to them. One of the largest is monitoring and measuring performance as it relates to climate change. With new climate-related disclosure regulations and laws rapidly approaching in the US (SEC), Europe and other countries, board directors must learn, and quickly, how and what to measure and track to avoid accusations of greenwashing.
