Shows that the number of seats held by women and minorities at Fortune 500 companies have increased from 34% (1,929 board seats) in 2018 to 38.3% (2,253 board seats) in 2020.
But the rate of overall improvement remains slow. The average growth for minority representation since 2004, the first year this data was collected, through June 30, 2020, is less than 0.5% per year.
